Interested in joining Unlawful Assembly? We welcome musicians and flag core members of all levels!

Unlawful Assembly is committed to challenging racism, sexism, homophobia, classism, Islamophobia, and oppression in all its forms, and we are currently focused on diversifying our membership in order to better fight these fights and better reflect the communities we are in solidarity with.

Therefore, at this time, we are prioritizing membership requests from (in no particular order): Black people, Indigenous people, people of color, immigrants, differently-abled people, LGBTQIA+/two-spirit people, Muslims and other people experiencing religious persecution, and anyone else from diverse backgrounds and/or who come from a community that has faced political marginalization and oppression.

While we won’t question your identities, if you do not fit into these margins listed above, we kindly ask that you reconsider requesting to join at this time. If you do fit into these margins, we look forward to receiving your request and meeting with you soon!
